Jeremy Russell (OK 1957) died September 19, 2024

Jeremy Francis John Russell was born on 28th February 1939. He remembered his days at King’s fondly and the opportunities he gained as a result. He felt especially grateful for having been taught by the senior English master at the time, Frank Miles, who he felt had had a profound influence on his life.

After leaving school, he read English at Christ’s College, Cambridge, and subsequently worked as a lecturer for several years. He then read for the bar and practised as a barrister whilst also running a commercial honey farm in north-west Norfolk for years. He was still working at both up until shortly before his death.
